Bring back the “load all replies” option!
I hate having to keep clicking “load more” over and over again. Especially when I want to use CTRL+F to see if someone’s already said what I’m about to post, so I can recommend their post instead of cluttering up the comments.

You're probably the only person that thinks that way

I found the “Racist McShootFace” post where this is happening .
I tried to reply to you in the comments there, but my reply disappeared. I can’t even reach it from my profile. Since it was a reply to you, did you get a notification? Can you see it?
I’m in the grey on Gawker, but I can’t find a “show pending” button in that new setup.

LOL Sometimes I think so. It’s like nobody even reads other comments at all before replying, and it becomes a huge mess of people all saying the same thing instead of starring whomever said it first.
I mean, I don’t want to read through 800 comments either, but if I can run a quick page search to see if someone’s already said what I want to say, they’re getting a star from me. And I won’t be contributing to the mess by posting something redundant.

Because everyone want their own stars. It's like likes on FB or up votes on Reddit. More stars always means you're winning life

I didn’t even think to use ctrl+f, I always did it the old fashioned way and skimmed through every comment until I got tired of it and posted anyway.

He’s not. There are 2 of us.

Apparently Kinja just ate all the comments on the post because now none of them are showing up..

I checked back on the post, and it looks like they reverted back to the normal reply system. All those “lost” comments are now visible.
